1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using Tenna IPTV Player ("Tenna", the "app") or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. If you use Tenna on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
2. What Tenna is
Tenna is a media player. It plays playlists and streams that you supply from providers of your choice. Tenna provides no channels, films, series, guides or streams, does not host or sell any, and is not a subscription service. The app and this website are free of charge.
3. Your licence
We give you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for lawful purposes. The source code of the apps is published on GitHub, and parts of the app are open-source software under their own licences (see the open-source notices); where a licence gives you more rights than these terms, that licence applies to that part.
4. Your playlists and content
- You are responsible for the playlists you add and for what you watch, record or download with Tenna.
- Only use playlists and content that you have the legal right to access. You are responsible for knowing the laws that apply to you.
- Your agreement with a provider is between you and that provider. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the provider, its prices, availability or content.
- Keep your playlist logins private. Anything done with your login is your responsibility.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Tenna to access, copy, record or share content you have no right to, or in a way that breaks the law or someone's rights;
- use Tenna to redistribute streams or to run a service for others;
- remove or hide notices in the app, or claim Tenna's software, name or logo as your own;
- interfere with, overload or try to break into any service Tenna connects to, including your provider's, a sports scoreboard, or this website;
- use the app or website to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
6. Third-party services
Tenna connects to services we do not run: your provider, image hosts named in your playlist, a public sports scoreboard (ESPN), a speed-test server (Cloudflare), and GitHub for downloads. They have their own terms and policies, and may change or stop at any time. We are not responsible for them, and things that depend on them (such as scores or artwork) may be missing, late or wrong.
7. Ownership and trademarks
The Tenna name, logo and the design of the app and website belong to the Tenna project. Other names, logos and trademarks that may appear in your playlists or in sports data belong to their owners; their use does not mean they are connected to or endorse Tenna. Content that plays through Tenna belongs to its owners, not to us.
8. Updates and availability
We may update, change or stop the app or website at any time, and we do not promise any release date for the Android and iOS apps. Some features differ between platforms, as the features page shows. You are responsible for installing updates you want.
9. No warranty
Tenna and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that streams will play, stay connected or look any particular way. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law says you always have as a consumer.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Tenna project and the people who contribute to it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, or for anything that happens because of content you or your provider supply, or because a service Tenna connects to fails. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the greatest amount the law allows, which where permitted is zero. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Your responsibility
To the extent the law allows, you agree to be responsible for, and to cover us against, claims that arise from your use of Tenna with content you had no right to use, or from your breach of these terms.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Tenna at any time by uninstalling it. We may withdraw the app or website, or block access to them, if these terms are broken. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as the warranty and liability sections) continue after that.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Tenna after a change, you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where the Tenna project's maintainer is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection law of the place where you live.
